Unwritten

I am unwritten
Can't read my mind
I'm undefined

I'm just beginning
The pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh

I break tradition
Sometimes my tries
Are outside the lines

We've been conditioned
To not make mistakes
But I can't live that way, no

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
To the years where your book begins
Feel the rain on your skin

No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips

Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
To the years where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

The rest is still unwritten

My life is unwritten-I don't know what tomorrow will bring, I don't know what I'll have to face next week, and I don't know how my life will play out. I'm Unwritten. However, the fears of this world, the fears of tomorrow, can't make me stop being who I am.
Each morning is a blank page, just begging to be filled out. How many of us spend each day just trying to make it through, going through all the motions? I know I have. Then I came across this song, and every time I get on YouTube I have to look this one up. The music and lyrics combined with Natasha Bedingfield's beautiful voice lift my soul! I can't help but sing along loud and proud, dancing around the whole house, because I know I'm Unwritten. Man and his laws cannot take that away from me, although they may try as hard as can be. Bedingfield's song has inspired me to live life! To shout praises to God, to sing His praises forever more! To see a fire dancing all aglow, and know that God made something so liquid, so flexible, so free from the confinements of this world.
It's time to put a song in our hearts, and live our life like a fire-free, beautiful, warming the hearts of those around us. As we set fire to our life, trusting God to be ever near, we spread. Our LifeFire sets others ablaze-they can't help it! They too are Unwritten, and once they get ahold of this unspeakable joy, there is no way they want to let go. And the chain goes on till we've set the world on fire for God-singing his praises, rejoicing to the heavens, and being free from all every one expects us to be and do.
You, dear child of God, are Unwritten. I pray you will allow the God of the heavens to set your heart and life ablaze with his glory and love, so much so that your LifeFire spreads to all those around you, completely consuming you with joy and love.
Love y'all!
